Have the wedding of your dreams on four acres of gardens or inside our National Historic Registered c.1714 colonial country home. Whether you want an intimate gathering of just the 2 of you or a large celebration of your love with 150 guests, let us help you do it all.
Our gardens are planted with an assortment of perennials and annuals, including climbing roses on trellises and ornamental trees and shrubs. There is a reflecting pool and a smaller fish pond, as well as some melodic fountains scattered throughout the grounds, in addition to many enchanting little outdoor groupings of furniture for private "tete a tetes". There are also still signs here and there of the Pennsbury Inn's intriguing 290-year history that we love to point out. All of this is on our landscaped four acres, and there are an additional four acres of wooded grounds, full of wildflowers and trails adjacent.
Book the entire inn and our home is yours for the weekend. We have 7 luxurious guest rooms on the second floor, and on the first floor there is a parlor, music, dining, powder, and huge garden room in addition to a kitchen and library.
We have recommended vendors of all kinds to help you plan that special day that you've always wanted. Your ideas and our experience intertwined, beautifully, romantically and uniquely yours. Decorate as you wish, have the food that you love. Have your ceremony on the grounds or a nearby church. Take over the guestrooms for the bride's family or the groom's or, better yet, just you two and the members of your wedding party, so that you can party on when your other guests have left.
